Saradhi Kuwait conducted its 19th Annual General Body Meeting & Election for 2019-2020 Central Officer Bearers, on 26th April 2019 at Indraprastha Auditorium, Mangaf.
Saradhi President Mr. K.V Sugunan presided the function and Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath inaugurated the AGM 2019 & Central Committee Elections. General Secretary Mr. K.R. Aji presented the annual report, Treasurer Mr. Biju C.V presented the financial report and Vanithavedi Secretary Mrs. Smitha Libu presented the Vanithavedi report for the year 2018-19. After discussions, the reports were approved by the AGM and subsequent to which, Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. Suresh K briefed the activities of Saradhi Trust & SCFE in Kerala.
Saradhi Kuwait conducted the 5th Anniversary of Gurukulam on 3rd May 2019 at Indraprastha Auditorium, Mangaf.
The functions started with a family prayer where the Gurukulam students were blessed by their parents and teachers. Six Groups from various units participated in the Pindanandi recitation competition. The Annual General Body meeting of Gurukulam included the one year report presentation and elections for the 2019-2020 term. The newly elected Gurukulam office bearers for the period 2019-2020 are Akhil Salimkumar (President), Sidharth Sudeep (Secretary), Arunima Anilkumar (Treasurer), Deksha Ratheesh (Vice President), Shreya Pramod (Joint Secretary) & Adersh Biju (Joint Treasurer).
During the event, Gurukulam Chief Coordinator & all area coordinators were felicitated with mementos in appreciation to their sincere contributions. Various cultural programs presented by Gurukulam students kept the audience entertained throughout the day.
Saradhi Kuwait celebrated its 19th Anniversary โ โSaradheeyam 2018โ, on 21st December 2018 at Sabah Al-Salem Theatre, Kuwait Khaldiya University
Cultural richness was evident throughout the show. The program started with prayers following which, Mrs. Sijitha Rajesh a well known fusion artist in Kuwait mesmerized the crowd with her Veena Fusion.
The Deputy Chief of Mission from The Indian Embassy of Kuwait, Mr. Raj Gopal Singh inaugurated the function which was presided by Mr. Sugunan K.V, the President of Saradhi Kuwait. The Program General Convener, Mr. Jayan Sadasivan delivered the welcome address followed by felicitation by the General Secretary Mr. K.R.Aji, Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. Suresh.K, Vanitha Vedhi Chairperson Mrs. Radha Gopinath, Billava Sanga Vice President Mrs. Sushma Bangara & BEC General Manager Mr. Mathews Varughese. Various dignitaries from the Media Sector and from the Socio Cultural arena of Kuwait were present alongwith a huge crowd from the Saradhi Family.
Saradhi Kuwait celebrated for the second consecutive year, its Mega Carnival โ India Fest-2019 on 25th February 2019 at the Indian Central School, Abbassiya.
Conjoined with the Kuwait National Day celebrations, Saradhi Kuwait joined hands with numerous Associations representing 14 States of India to host the IndiaFest-2019. The Day started at 8.00am with a free Medical Camp and Health checkup by Medical Team from Badr Al-Samaa Polyclinic. The shows started with Fashion Shows including Mummy & Me Show, Couples Fashion Show, etc. Cooking competitions namely, Biriyani, Payasam, Salad, Vegetable Carving & Snacks competitions were being coordinated and Judged by the famous Chef Noushad from India.
The cultural summit commenced in the evening with a welcome speech by the Program General Convenor Mr. N.S.Jayan. Saradhi Kuwait President Mr. K.V.Sugunan inaugurated the functions followed by felicitations from Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. K. Suresh, Saradhi Kuwait General Secretary Mr. K.R.Aji, Treasurer, Mr. Biju.C.V, Saradhi Trust Secretary Mr. Sajeev Kumar, Saradhi Trust Treasurer Mr. Rajeesh Mullackal & Vanitha Vedhi Secretary Mrs. Smitha Libu.
Other distinguished guests included Dr. Mustafa Al-Mousawi, Chairman of Kuwait Organ Transplant centre, Dr. Jassim Al-Barrak Chairman of Medical Oncology Department, Management Team of numerous Associations from 14 States of India & Journalists & News Media Team also graced the occasion with their presence. The famous oncologist from Kuwait Cancer Center, Dr. Susovana Nair volunteered in conducting a free Cancer Screening session for women and successfully conducted the session for 54 registered participants on the day.
As a tribute to the martyred Indian soldiers in the recent Pulwama attack, the guests and participants offered their prayers & respects to the Amar Jyothi arranged in the venue.
The Carnival with all its glamour and excitement continued from morning till late evening without a break. The entertainment and activities broke all language barriers catering to over 6000 Indians who gathered from different states with different traditions, religion & language. The evening was graced by a musical feast by Ms. Sheikha, Ms. Reeva Maria & the famous drummist Mr. Gino K Jose (alias Junior Sivamani).
From Kuwait, most of the prominent Dance Schools performed on Stage including other Kuwait based group with cultural and traditional art form depictions. Bike Shows, Games for Children, Magic Shows, DJ Shows, Live Kitchen and various Food Staffs offering a variety of culinary delights were also highlights of the event.
Saradhi Kuwait with Saradhi Trust & Saradhi Vanitha Vedhi coordinated together to turn IndiaFest-2019 into a Mega Carnival and ensured that the excitement and memories of the day would last long.

Saradhi Kuwait celebrated the 164th Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi as a small function with prayers and bhajans at Saradhi Indraprastha Auditorium Mangaf.
The function, inaugurated by the Saradhi President Mr. Sugunan K V, started by 6 pm with the welcome speech of Program Convener Mr. Manu K Mohan.
Saradhi Kuwait flagged off their dream project โA House for the destituteโ
The occasion of Saradhi Kuwaitโs 18th Annual General Body Meeting also witnessed the handover of the amount to the first person of their Dream Project, โA House for the destituteโ.
The AGM held at Saradhi Indraprastha Hall, Mangaf was presided over by the Saradhi President Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. Secretary Mr. Manu K Mohan delivered the welcome speech and Mr. Vinish Vishwam, General Secretary presented the Annual, Jayan K Sadasivan the Financial, Vanithavedhi Secretary Mrs. Sindhuja Jiji the Vanithavedhi and Mrs. Jayakumar Vanithavedhi Financial Reports respectively. Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Trust Chairman Mr. Anithkumar, Vanithavedhi Chairperson Mrs. Gini Jayakumar, Vice President Mr. K R Aji, Joint Treasurer Mr. Shanoob Shekhar, felicitated the function.
Saradhi Mega Program, Saradheeyam 2017 convener Mr. Jayan N S handover the amount for the first house in the line of project โA House for the destituteโ. As a kickoff to this mega project Saradhi Kuwait also got the support of Mr. Reji Chacko Paulose with his valuable contributions during this function.
The new office bearers for the year 2018 -2019 was elected as per that Mr. Sugunan K V (President), Mr. Vinod Kumar K (Vice President), Mr. K R Aji (General Secretary), Mr. Deepu M B (Secretary), Mr. Biju C V (Treasurer), Mr. Aji Kuttappan (Joint Treasurer) and in Vanithavedhi Mrs. Radha Gopinadhan (Chairperson), Mrs. Siji Pradeep (Vice Chairperson), Mrs. Smitha Libu (Secretary), Laila Ajayakumar (Joint Secretary), Mrs. Rema Vidhyadharan (Treasurer) and Mrs. Treasa Anil Kumar (Joint Treasurer) took charge of their respected positions.
Mementos were distributed to the General Conveners of the Major Programs held by Saradhi during the year 2017 โ 2018 and also to Mr. Vijayan Narayanan who is going back to his native place winding up his expat life in Kuwait. Prizes were also distributed to the members who has given outstanding performances during the year 2017-2018 for Saradhi Kuwait.
The whole function went under the control of Presidium committee guided by Mr. Suresh Vellappalli, Mr. Advt. Sashidhara Panicker and Mr. Binumon M K.
