Saradhi Kuwait celebrated its 19th Anniversary – “Saradheeyam 2018”, on 21st December 2018 at Sabah Al-Salem Theatre, Kuwait Khaldiya University

Cultural richness was evident throughout the show. The program started with prayers following which, Mrs. Sijitha Rajesh a well known fusion artist in Kuwait mesmerized the crowd with her Veena Fusion.

The Deputy Chief of Mission from The Indian Embassy of Kuwait, Mr. Raj Gopal Singh inaugurated the function which was presided by Mr. Sugunan K.V, the President of Saradhi Kuwait. The Program General Convener, Mr. Jayan Sadasivan delivered the welcome address followed by felicitation by the General Secretary Mr. K.R.Aji, Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. Suresh.K, Vanitha Vedhi Chairperson Mrs. Radha Gopinath, Billava Sanga Vice President Mrs. Sushma Bangara & BEC General Manager Mr. Mathews Varughese. Various dignitaries from the Media Sector and from the Socio Cultural arena of Kuwait were present alongwith a huge crowd from the Saradhi Family.

Mega Carnival – India Fest 2019

Saradhi Kuwait celebrated for the second consecutive year, its Mega Carnival – India Fest-2019 on 25th February 2019 at the Indian Central School, Abbassiya.

Conjoined with the Kuwait National Day celebrations, Saradhi Kuwait joined hands with numerous Associations representing 14 States of India to host the IndiaFest-2019. The Day started at 8.00am with a free Medical Camp and Health checkup by Medical Team from Badr Al-Samaa Polyclinic. The shows started with Fashion Shows including Mummy & Me Show, Couples Fashion Show, etc. Cooking competitions namely, Biriyani, Payasam, Salad, Vegetable Carving & Snacks competitions were being coordinated and Judged by the famous Chef Noushad from India.

The cultural summit commenced in the evening with a welcome speech by the Program General Convenor Mr. N.S.Jayan. Saradhi Kuwait President Mr. K.V.Sugunan inaugurated the functions followed by felicitations from Saradhi Trust Chairman Mr. K. Suresh, Saradhi Kuwait General Secretary Mr. K.R.Aji, Treasurer, Mr. Biju.C.V, Saradhi Trust Secretary Mr. Sajeev Kumar, Saradhi Trust Treasurer Mr. Rajeesh Mullackal & Vanitha Vedhi Secretary Mrs. Smitha Libu.

Other distinguished guests included Dr. Mustafa Al-Mousawi, Chairman of Kuwait Organ Transplant centre, Dr. Jassim Al-Barrak Chairman of Medical Oncology Department, Management Team of numerous Associations from 14 States of India & Journalists & News Media Team also graced the occasion with their presence. The famous oncologist from Kuwait Cancer Center, Dr. Susovana Nair volunteered in conducting a free Cancer Screening session for women and successfully conducted the session for 54 registered participants on the day.

As a tribute to the martyred Indian soldiers in the recent Pulwama attack, the guests and participants offered their prayers & respects to the Amar Jyothi arranged in the venue.

The Carnival with all its glamour and excitement continued from morning till late evening without a break. The entertainment and activities broke all language barriers catering to over 6000 Indians who gathered from different states with different traditions, religion & language. The evening was graced by a musical feast by Ms. Sheikha, Ms. Reeva Maria & the famous drummist Mr. Gino K Jose (alias Junior Sivamani).

From Kuwait, most of the prominent Dance Schools performed on Stage including other Kuwait based group with cultural and traditional art form depictions. Bike Shows, Games for Children, Magic Shows, DJ Shows, Live Kitchen and various Food Staffs offering a variety of culinary delights were also highlights of the event.

Saradhi Kuwait with Saradhi Trust & Saradhi Vanitha Vedhi coordinated together to turn IndiaFest-2019 into a Mega Carnival and ensured that the excitement and memories of the day would last long.

ഈശ്വരനു ജനനവും മരണവുമില്ല എന്നു നമുക്കേവർക്കുമറിയാം , എന്നാൽ ദൈവം നരാകൃതിപൂണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ പല കാലങ്ങളിലും അവതാരം ചെയ്തിട്ടുമുണ്ട്, അങ്ങനെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ ശ്രീ നാരായണ സമൂഹം ഭാഗ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ചവരാണ്, ജഗത് ഗുരുവായി ശ്രീ നാരായണ ഗുരുദേവൻ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ജീവിച്ചു തന്റെ അവതാര ലക്ഷ്യം കൈവരിച്ചു 90 വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് കന്നി 5 നു മഹാ സമാധി കൈവരിച്ചു ശേഷം പ്രകാശ സ്വരൂപനായി, പരബ്രഹ്മമായി നമുക്ക് നേർവഴി കാട്ടി നമ്മെ നയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഋഷിചര്യയിൽ ജീവിതം നയിച്ച ഏതൊരു സന്യാസിയുടെയും സമാധിക്കു ശേഷം 41 ആം ദിവസം നടത്തുന്ന പ്രാർത്ഥനാ പൂർണ്ണമായ ചടങ്ങാണ് യതിപൂജ.

ശ്രീ നാരായണ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ സമാധിയെ തുടർന്ന്‌ യതിപൂജയ്ക്കുള്ള തയാറെടുപ്പുകൾ സന്യാസശിഷ്യന്മാർ പൂർത്തിയായ അവസരത്തിൽ അന്നത്തെ എസ്.എൻ.ഡി.പി യോഗം കൗണ്സിൽ ചേർന്നു യതിപൂജ നടത്തുന്നതിനു കോടതിയിൽ നിന്നും സ്റ്റേ വാങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു, തുടർന്ന് നാളിതു വരെ യോഗവും ശിവഗിരി മഠവും തമ്മിലുള്ള അഭിപ്രയ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങൾ മൂലം പലർക്കും ആഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പോലും യതി പൂജ ചടങ്ങുകൾ നടത്താൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.

എന്നാൽ ഇന്ന് യോഗവും മഠവും ഒരു മനസ്സായി ഗുരുപാതയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഗുരുദേവ മഹാ സമാധിയുടെ നവതി ആചരിക്കുന്ന ഈ അവസരത്തത്തിൽ 90 വർഷമായി മുടങ്ങി കിടന്ന ആ ചടങ്ങുകൾക്ക് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് ഭാരതത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ മഠങ്ങളിലെ സന്യാസിമാരെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു വരുത്തി 41 ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന “ഓം ശ്രീ നാരായണ പരമ ഗുരവേ നമഃ” എന്ന ഗുരുദേവ മൂലമന്ത്രത്തിന്റെ അഖണ്ഡനാമ ജപത്തോടെയും , വിവിധ സമ്മേളനങ്ങളോടെയും, സത്സംഗങ്ങളോടെയും വിപുലമായരീതിയിൽ നടക്കുകയാണ്.

ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രം ലഭിക്കുന്ന അപൂർവ്വ അവസരമാണ് ഇതുപോലെ യതിപൂജയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ കഴിയുക എന്നത്. ഇതുപോലെ വിപുലവും ബ്രഹ്ത്തുമായ യതിപൂജ ഇനി സംഭിവിക്കുമോ എന്നുപോലും അറിയില്ല. ഏകദേശം 7 കോടി രൂപയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ നടത്തിപ്പിലേക്ക് ആവശ്യമായി വരുന്നത്.

The function, inaugurated by the Saradhi President Mr. Sugunan K V, started by 6 pm with the welcome speech of Program Convener Mr. Manu K Mohan.

Saradhi Kuwait flagged off their dream project “A House for the destitute”
The occasion of Saradhi Kuwait’s 18th Annual General Body Meeting also witnessed the handover of the amount to the first person of their Dream Project, “A House for the destitute”.
The AGM held at Saradhi Indraprastha Hall, Mangaf was presided over by the Saradhi President Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. Secretary Mr. Manu K Mohan delivered the welcome speech and Mr. Vinish Vishwam, General Secretary presented the Annual, Jayan K Sadasivan the Financial, Vanithavedhi Secretary Mrs. Sindhuja Jiji the Vanithavedhi and Mrs. Jayakumar Vanithavedhi Financial Reports respectively. Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Trust Chairman Mr. Anithkumar, Vanithavedhi Chairperson Mrs. Gini Jayakumar, Vice President Mr. K R Aji, Joint Treasurer Mr. Shanoob Shekhar, felicitated the function.
Saradhi Mega Program, Saradheeyam 2017 convener Mr. Jayan N S handover the amount for the first house in the line of project “A House for the destitute”. As a kickoff to this mega project Saradhi Kuwait also got the support of Mr. Reji Chacko Paulose with his valuable contributions during this function.
The new office bearers for the year 2018 -2019 was elected as per that Mr. Sugunan K V (President), Mr. Vinod Kumar K (Vice President), Mr. K R Aji (General Secretary), Mr. Deepu M B (Secretary), Mr. Biju C V (Treasurer), Mr. Aji Kuttappan (Joint Treasurer) and in Vanithavedhi Mrs. Radha Gopinadhan (Chairperson), Mrs. Siji Pradeep (Vice Chairperson), Mrs. Smitha Libu (Secretary), Laila Ajayakumar (Joint Secretary), Mrs. Rema Vidhyadharan (Treasurer) and Mrs. Treasa Anil Kumar (Joint Treasurer) took charge of their respected positions.
Mementos were distributed to the General Conveners of the Major Programs held by Saradhi during the year 2017 – 2018 and also to Mr. Vijayan Narayanan who is going back to his native place winding up his expat life in Kuwait. Prizes were also distributed to the members who has given outstanding performances during the year 2017-2018 for Saradhi Kuwait.
The whole function went under the control of Presidium committee guided by Mr. Suresh Vellappalli, Mr. Advt. Sashidhara Panicker and Mr. Binumon M K.

SARADHI SPORTS MEET – 2018

The Saradhi Kuwait held their 3rd Sports Meet at Khaifan Sports Club Stadium on 09th February 2018, focusing on the motto, to bring a recognition among the Saradhi members that the importance of physical fitness are of great significance. The competitions got kicked off by the sports flag hoisting by Saradhi President Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. Saradhi General Secretary Mr. Vinish Vishwam, Treasurer Mr. Jayan Sadasivan, Secretary Mr. Manu Mohan, Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Trust Chairman Mr. Anith Kumar, Secretary Mr. Sajeev Kumar, Treasurer Mr. Rajeesh Mullackal, Vanithavedhi Acting Chairperson Mrs. Gini Jayakumar and Sport Meet Convener Mr. Sanal Kumar honored the event with their invaluable presence.
In the Sports Meet, in which around 1000 participants took part in 70 different events in a true sportsman spirit, the real show stopper was the colorful Marchpast by the different Units of Saradhi. The Annual Sponsor of Saradhi Kuwait, Al Mulla Exchange Marketing Manager Mr. John Simon felicitated the event along with the co-sponsors of Saradhi upcoming event,”India Kuwait Fest 2018” on February 23rd.
By the end of the day medals and Trophies for the winners, alongwith the trophies of Overall champions in each category were distributed. Overall Championship Trophy for the Units was grabbed by Saradhi Fahaheel Unit.

Saradheeyam – 2017

The 18th Anniversary celebration of Saradhi Kuwait “Saradheeyam – 2017”, held at Qadsiya Sporting club Indoor Stadium will be marked as a memorable day for those who attended the function.
“Saradheeyam – 2017” visioned and executed focusing mainly on the next major projects of Saradhi, Kuwait, a Palliative Care Centre and a House for the destitute, as the motto of Saradhi Kuwait is “Service to Humanity”.
The Second Secretary to Embassy Mr. Sibi, U S flagged off the Anniversary Celebrations by lighting the Lamp. Saradhi, Centre for Excellence Director Colonel Vijayan honored the function as chief Guest, and it was presided over by the President of Saradhi Kuwait Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. Saradhi General Secretary Mr. Vinish Vishwam, Program General Convener Mr. Jayan N S, Treasurer Mr. Jayan Sadasivan, Al Mulla Exchange Asst. General Manager Mr. Husefa Sadhanpurwala, Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Trust Chairman Mr. Anith Kumar, Vanithavedhi Vice Chairperson Ms. Gini Jayan and Gurukulam President Master Akhil Salim felicitated the function.
Awards and Mementos were distributed to the children of Saradhi family who came out in flying colors in 10th and 12th. The function also honored the Principal of Indian Community School Dr. Binumon who achieved the best teacher award and also Mr. Manoj Mavelikkara and Mr. Salim Kommeri for their dedicated work in the field of Humanity and Social Service.
An in house program “Agnisthokam”, a dramatic, musical dance drama, choreographed by Chithralayam Sasikumar, as a tribute to the great poets of Malayalam who fought against the evils of society through their medium, the poetry, with the participation of around 200 artists from Saradhi family attained the appreciation of Audience of “Saradheeyam -2017”.
This was followed by an overwhelming Musical Night by the team from Kerala, led by the famous playback singer Mr. Madhu Balakrishnan, the star of Reality shows and Social Media Master Vaishnav Girish, Lakshmi Jain and Anitha Sheikh, accompanied by 5 member team of Orchestra led by Mr. Gino, well known as Junior Sivamani, who mesmerized the audience by their fusions and the magical and innovative items in drums.

Inauguration of Saradhi SSB Coaching Centre and Saradhi Sangamam-2017
Saradhi Kuwait, a non-profitable association which has earned an eminent position among the Indian Associations in Kuwait through its services for the humanity, conducted their fourth Saradhi Snagamam at Cherthala, Alppuzha. The function of this year become more prominent as it also witnessed the inauguration of SSB Coaching Centre started under Saradhi Centre for Excellence the first educational Institution in India under the guidance of Educational & Charitable Trust of Saradhi Kuwait.
During the inaugural speech of Major General Mr. Vikas Joshi (Retd.), the Ex. Commandant of Services Selection Centre, South situated at Bangalore, of SSB Coaching Centre, he congratulated as well as praised Saradhi Kuwait for the effort they have taken to set a Coaching Centre in National Standard in Kerala. A training session under the guidance of eminent sports coaching personality of Kerala Mr. Prathap was arranged on that day to make the crowd aware of the coaching scheduled for the students.

Snehasparsham – A Charity Initiative from Saradhi Kuwait

Saradhi Kuwait recently initiated Snehasparsham, a program to ensure educational and employment support for mothers of Aluva Sree Narayanagiri inhabitants.
The program which was held at Aluva Sree Narayanagiri was inaugurated by Sri Anwar Sadath MLA. SNDP Yogam President Dr. M N Soman offered educational support to 30 kids. Saradhi Fahaheel Unit Convenor Sri. M K Binu Mon Presided over the function. Sree Narayana Sevika Samajam Secretary and Kerala High Court senior Advocate Adv. Seemanthini Sreevalsan made the Welcome speech. Keezmaad Grama Panchayath Presdent Sri A K Ramesh, Block Panchayath Vice President Sri Ramesh Kavalan, Keezhmad Shakha Yogam President Sri Vijayan K A, Saradhi Centre For Excellence Director Col. Vijayan, Chairman Adv. Aravindakshan, and Gurukulam Coordinator Smt. Bindu Sajeev presented felicitations at the event.

Sargasangamom 2019

Saradhi Kuwait successfully conducted Sargasangamam-2019 with a Grand Finale celebration and Award Ceremony on 01st Feb 2019 at the Indian Community School Auditorium, Khaitan. Sargasangamam is a yearly event of Saradhi aimed at enriching the on-stage and off stage performances of Saradhi members from all age groups.

Over 800 participants competed in 50 Events which were conducted in 4 different venues in 3 days. Qualified judges with prominent academic, art & cultural background flawlessly scored all the performances. Age was not a barrier with groups starting from Kindergarten Sub Junior, Junior, Senior & General Categories giving even the Fathers and Mothers a chance to perform and bring on stage their skills in front of their own cheering kids & siblings. A well organized event by a team of dedicated officials under the guidelines of the Program Convenor, Mr. Siju Sadasivan gave the huge crowd one of the best Saragasangamam event and Grand Finale.

The Final day Award ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Sugunan K.V, President of Saradhi Kuwait and Mr. Siju Sadasivan, Program General Convenor delivered the Welcome Speech. Felicitations were done by Mr. Aji.K.R – General Secretary, Mr. Suresh Kochath – Saradhi Patron & Mr. Sajeev Narayan – Trust Vice Chairman.

During the event, the Official Flyer releasing ceremony was also done for the upcoming Mega Event – India Fest 2019 scheduled on 25th Feb 2019. The Flyer was unveiled by Mr. Ramdas Nair – Head of Retail Sales, BEC the Annual Sponsor of Saradhi along with Mr. Jayakumar N.S – Program Convenor of India Fest 2019.

Sargasangamam winners were awarded with Certificates and mementos while the outstanding performers from each category were bestowed with Special Awards and Titles:

The program reached its culmination with a Vote of Thanks from Mr. Biju C.V, Treasurer of Saradhi Kuwait amidst hundreds on contended participants & audiences longing for next year Sargasangamam.
