Saradhi Kuwait conducted Athmopadeshashatakam on 10th May 2019 at Indraprastha Hall, Mangaf. The event was inaugurated by the President Mr. Sugunan K.V amidst Central Committee, Unit Committee, Saradhi Trust, Vanita Vedhi members and a packed crowd of Saradhi members.
Saradhi Kuwait celebrated the 164th Sree Narayana Guru Jayanthi as a small function with prayers and bhajans at Saradhi Indraprastha Auditorium Mangaf.
The function, inaugurated by the Saradhi President Mr. Sugunan K V, started by 6 pm with the welcome speech of Program Convener Mr. Manu K Mohan.
The 18th Anniversary celebration of Saradhi Kuwait “Saradheeyam – 2017”, held at Qadsiya Sporting club Indoor Stadium will be marked as a memorable day for those who attended the function.
“Saradheeyam – 2017” visioned and executed focusing mainly on the next major projects of Saradhi, Kuwait, a Palliative Care Centre and a House for the destitute, as the motto of Saradhi Kuwait is “Service to Humanity”.
The Second Secretary to Embassy Mr. Sibi, U S flagged off the Anniversary Celebrations by lighting the Lamp. Saradhi, Centre for Excellence Director Colonel Vijayan honored the function as chief Guest, and it was presided over by the President of Saradhi Kuwait Mr. Sajeev Narayanan. Saradhi General Secretary Mr. Vinish Vishwam, Program General Convener Mr. Jayan N S, Treasurer Mr. Jayan Sadasivan, Al Mulla Exchange Asst. General Manager Mr. Husefa Sadhanpurwala, Saradhi Patron Mr. Suresh Kochath, Trust Chairman Mr. Anith Kumar, Vanithavedhi Vice Chairperson Ms. Gini Jayan and Gurukulam President Master Akhil Salim felicitated the function.
Awards and Mementos were distributed to the children of Saradhi family who came out in flying colors in 10th and 12th. The function also honored the Principal of Indian Community School Dr. Binumon who achieved the best teacher award and also Mr. Manoj Mavelikkara and Mr. Salim Kommeri for their dedicated work in the field of Humanity and Social Service.
An in house program “Agnisthokam”, a dramatic, musical dance drama, choreographed by Chithralayam Sasikumar, as a tribute to the great poets of Malayalam who fought against the evils of society through their medium, the poetry, with the participation of around 200 artists from Saradhi family attained the appreciation of Audience of “Saradheeyam -2017”.
This was followed by an overwhelming Musical Night by the team from Kerala, led by the famous playback singer Mr. Madhu Balakrishnan, the star of Reality shows and Social Media Master Vaishnav Girish, Lakshmi Jain and Anitha Sheikh, accompanied by 5 member team of Orchestra led by Mr. Gino, well known as Junior Sivamani, who mesmerized the audience by their fusions and the magical and innovative items in drums.
Saradhi Kuwait recently initiated Snehasparsham, a program to ensure educational and employment support for mothers of Aluva Sree Narayanagiri inhabitants.
The program which was held at Aluva Sree Narayanagiri was inaugurated by Sri Anwar Sadath MLA. SNDP Yogam President Dr. M N Soman offered educational support to 30 kids. Saradhi Fahaheel Unit Convenor Sri. M K Binu Mon Presided over the function. Sree Narayana Sevika Samajam Secretary and Kerala High Court senior Advocate Adv. Seemanthini Sreevalsan made the Welcome speech. Keezmaad Grama Panchayath Presdent Sri A K Ramesh, Block Panchayath Vice President Sri Ramesh Kavalan, Keezhmad Shakha Yogam President Sri Vijayan K A, Saradhi Centre For Excellence Director Col. Vijayan, Chairman Adv. Aravindakshan, and Gurukulam Coordinator Smt. Bindu Sajeev presented felicitations at the event.
